The softly-lit hull of the historic Mary Rose and the intrinsic sense of a story spanning five centuries creates the most stunning and atmospheric backdrop to any event.

Set in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, with spectacular views over the harbour, The Mary Rose is enveloped in maritime history and sits right on the water’s edge.

 

Curators limit the number of events, enhancing exclusivity and, critically, protecting the historically important hull of Henry VIII’s Tudor warship. Of those who host a private dinner, a meeting, a seminar, a celebration, a reception, or a wedding in this world-renowned museum, all say the space is not only exclusive and atmospheric, it is truly unique.

Surrounded by maritime history, the multi-award winning Mary Rose is no ordinary meeting space.

Our Wardroom suite is an ideal location in which to hold a meeting. Guests can also enjoy access to our Bridge Balcony, which offers wonderful views of the ever-changing dockyard.

Have complete access to the museum after hours to yourself. Stroll round the atmospheric galleries after dark whilst enjoying a glass of wine, fizz or a soft drink.
