A very significant proportion of our income comes from the vital support given by our membership schemes. These offer dedicated supporters the opportunity to enjoy a deeper relationship with the Mary Rose and our crucial activities.

The Mary Rose receives no regular funding from governmental bodies. As with most heritage organisations, our revenue is mainly earned through visitor ticket purchases. However, to cover all costs, including maintaining the ship, the collections, and the Museum, and to develop inspiring educational, community and interpretation projects, we need to look beyond our daily visitors.
