It is with great sadness that the Mary Rose Trust has learnt of the death of Nick Rule. As a Member of the Trust, former diver who developed the survey method used during the excavation, and as Margaret Rule’s son, he will be sorely missed.
For over 44 years the Mary Rose has been a key feature in Nick’s life, more recently through his unrelenting support of the celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the raising, through to the creation of our immersive experience, Dive The Mary Rose 4D.
His legacy will certainly live on and will continue to be celebrated in everything we do.
