HMS Mary Rose – a temporary exhibition

The Mary Rose Trust doesn’t just have items in our collections relating to the Tudor Mary Rose – We also have items relating to HMS Mary Rose, an Admiralty M-class destroyer that served in the Royal Navy during World War One, and was lost on 16th October 1917 during the Battle of Lerwick.

See letters, medals and more from HMS Mary Rose’s captain, Lieutenant Commander Charles Leonard Fox, on display in our secondary collection display case in the Museum entrance pavilion.

Relaxed Opening Morning

Every month we hold Relaxed Opening or Lights Up mornings, where from 10am-12 noon the lights in the museum will be at a higher level, and sound effects will be turned down. As always our wonderful team of volunteers and staff will be on hand to guide you through the experience.
