Do we really know why the Mary Rose sank?
Join us as we hear from Mary Rose Trust staff, historians and Mary Rose divers on the possible theories as to what caused the sinking in July 1545. The day will also include a panel discussion through which the audience can participate in the debate as well as offer up their own theories.
Further details, and ticket pricing, will be released later this year.
Please note the lectures will be held at The Royal Maritime Club. Entry and registration is from 10am. Your ticket includes lunch and refreshments as well as the opportunity to visit The Mary Rose at the end of the day.
Parking: Please note that the parking spaces outside The Royal Maritime Club are reserved for guests of the hotel so we ask that you use public car parks instead. The closest is Portsmouth Historic Dockyard Car Park, directly opposite the hotel. Postcode for Sat Nav PO1 3GW.
